Outdoor Technologies LLC, as
a technology company concept, was started in 2002 and took
shape in it's current name in 2009. We are located in
Rhinelander, Wisconsin. We provide a range of products and
services that utilize advanced GIS and sonar technologies,
and cover a wide range of uses. We have three distinct
product and service branches that include Lake habitat
investigation studies, streambed profiles for bridge
inspections, and advanced fishing information products. Our
clients will range from lakes associations, engineering and
consulting firms, universities, jurisdictional government
agencies, to the weekend angler. We are currently serving
Wisconsin, with plans to expand to other states.

Aquatic Habitat Suitability GIS
Outdoor Technologies, LLC utilizes the latest in field lake survey, sonar, and GIS tools and capabilities to perform lake habitat quantification. Geographic Information System (GIS) is a tool for mapping and analyzing spatial data. The study of fishes and their habitat requires the understanding of a species' geographic requirements.
Streambed Profile
If you are a governmental agency responsible for the
inspection and compliance of your road system bridges,
you are responsible for making sure that your bridges
over water have a streambed profile survey done every 24
months. Our
state-of-the-art sonar and GIS technologies allow us to
complete these surveys more safely, more thoroughly, and
with results that are more efficiently trackable over
time.
Electronic Guide Service
Advanced fishing information products delivered to you electronically. We utilize advanced sonar technology to locate everything on the bottom of lake including the exact location and extent of weed edges, rock bars, boulders, cribs, brush piles and bottom composition to provide you with the most detailed fishing information product available.
